Question From januari till april 2006 I'll be working in Ugana. On my way back home I'd like to visite Tanzania. Can I get to Tanzania by boat (across Lake Victoria) and is it safe to do so? And do you have any Idea what the costs will be?

Answer Yes it is possible to go round the lake by boat but once you arrive in Tanzania you are miles from anywhere. You can get flights from Entebbe to Tanzania I think this would be a better bet unless you are an intrepid traveller. It would be a fascinating trip butlooking at your dates you will be in the middle of the rainy season so probably not advisable. I would fly
