Question
I was born In Lvov in 1954. My parents left the Ukraine in 1956, and never came back. I am an American Citizen, and posses an American passport(I am married and have 2 children). Do you think I can also get a a Ukrainian passport , and keep my American passport ?

Answer
Although you should speak to the Ukrainian embassy in Washington DC, as far as I am aware you will be able to get a Ukrainian passport.  This process will be much easier to navigate if you speak Ukrainian or Russian.  As far as it being recognized, I think Ukraine would recognize both passports, but America would only recognize your US passport.  Again, the embassy would be the one to contact in this regard.
