Answer In general, you can expect most Ukrainians to be open to you, although you will get stared at a lot. Depending on where you are, you might be the first person of color most people have seen (save for in cities like Kiev or Odessa, where there is a bit more diversity). Some might be prejudiced towards you and you might have to present your documents to the police more often, but on the whole you should be fine. Enjoy Ukraine!
