Question
How do I set my computer so that after it boots up, the screen is always full size? Right now it starts out small and I have to maximize it.

Answer
Hello Steve,

Thanks for asking.

If you're using the Display setting (in your Control Panel, accessible from the Start button), you should be able to change your display to whatever resolution size your computer/monitor can handle.  The higher the number, the smaller the icons appear on your computer screen, the more area of your computer's desktop is visible.

Once you change this setting, it's stuck unless you decide that you don't like it (wait about 30 seconds and it usually goes back to whatever it was set at initially).

If this doesn't work, check out a forum (below) I found for another person that had a similar issue with their laptop.  That person created a new account.  See the link below:

If neither of the above solutions work, let me know.  I can do some more research and see if I find any other issues.  When you reply back, include the type of computer (i.e. Dell C650 laptop) and operating system (i.e. Windows XP).  It will help me to narrow down my search and find a solution faster.

Keep me posted!
