Subject: Saving my favorites on NETZERO

Question
Hi,
I know this is probably easy for you...but I don't know how to do it...I have a laptop...I've saved a bunch of things in my favorites..Oh, and I am using dial up Netzero HiSpeed...I want to go to Cox Cable for my Internet provider but I want to keep those favorites...I don't know how to save them to a disk or CD or whatever it is I would use. Or even save them to my laptop....when I stop my Netzero I won't have access to them anymore...
So, do you get what I am saying...I can't really even explain it all that well...sorry..
I have certain websites I've saved to my favorites on Netzero and I want to keep them...How do I do that?
Okay, thanks for any help you can give me....I wish I was better at this...I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop and the book that came with it doesn't tell you a dang thing...it's pitiful...they need to get someone like you to write their book on how to use a laptop..
Thanks...
Leslee
PS: If I get a wireless connection do I still have to have an Internet provider? How does that work?
Thanks again.

Answer
Go to drive C:
then click on
Documents and Settings

You will then see a folder called all users and one with another name.
Clcik on the one with the name.
Then clcik on Favorites.

Then copy the folder and paste it somewhere until you need it.  In other words, back it up.

As for the wireless, this only lets you go wireless.  You will still need a ISP.  And you will need a wireless rounter.

John
