Question
QUESTION: What command would reinstall the boot files on a window 98 pc.  Thank you

ANSWER: it should be FIXMBR

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION: Sorry, I should have told you my choices..A:>SAYS C:, C:>SYS A:, C:>Winstall, A:>Format C:/U/S  I think it would be A.

Answer
To reinstall them you should need a boot disk...not just the Win 98 cd. A boot disk is a floppy disk Which should be the A drive A: FORMAT C would format the hard drive which would leave it clear for a reinstall of Win 98. If there are no important files on the PC I would recommend this.
