Question Hi, if you install a program....say a game or something for instance and then you uninstall it, is there any record of it being there???
Answer Hi Emma,
This varies from program to program. Some program uninstalls are very clean and leave no program trace. Others leave residue all over the system and the registry.
Even the ones that are clean may leave some trace in other parts of the registry where information about recently used programs and other such information is kept.
