Question
Hello,

I heard the computer logs your activities somewhere but how do you access this log file? Is it in the registry? I'm also not familiar with the registry. I was wondering what is the registry, what does it do, and what can you use it for?

Thank you so much for taking the time to volunteer for this!

Answer
There are performance logs and stuff like that under administrative tools in the control panel...it records websites and pages visited in history. The registry is a huge database for windows and installed programs on your computer..It uses keys for programs to undestand what they will do when you use them basically what their purpose is....you can use it to tweak some programs...for example you can have a picture on your IE toolbar...I highly recommend you do not edit the registry unless you are certain of what to do...small changes can make your OS inoperable causing you to have to reinstall Windows. EDIT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
