Subject: Outlook & importing pst files

Question
Nathaniel, I want to import certain emails and contacts from a pst file into Outlook.  I have tried it before and ended up with 2 calendars and 2 sets of contacts, etc.  How do I go about it so that I integrate everything in Outlook, including what I have already imported?  Many thanks for your help.  Sam

Answer
Maybe the reason is you aren't copying them INTO the other files rather you maybe creating new files. I took the liberty of copying this from the MS website.

How to import .pst file data into Outlook
Use the following steps to import a .pst) file into Outlook: 1. On the File menu, click Import And Export. If the menu item is not available, hover your pointer over the chevrons at the bottom of the menu, and then click Import and Export.
2. Click Import from another program or file., and then click Next.
3. Click Personal Folder File (.pst), and then click Next.
4. Type the path and the name of the .pst file that you want to import, and then click Next.
5. Select the folder that you want to import, or select the top of the hierarchy to import everything, and then click Finish

Try this if it doesn't work or you have the smae problem feel free to contact me again and I will try and help you further.
