Question
As I am not the most knowledgeable person on computers. I have an annoying problem. My computer is constantly running. It used to make a running sound when it first started, but then it got quiet. It does change pitch occasionally but newer gets quiet cpmpletely. The last time it did get quiet was when I smacked it, lightly, on the side but, it became noisy again. It seems to be working ok otherwise, but the sound is annoying. Should i be concerned? Is there somthing I could do? Thank you

Sounds like you have a loose part or a cable hitting a fan or unbalance.
You need to lightly check the parts by making sure they are pushed in and make sure nothing is hitting the fan.
Try putting something under a corner of the computer base if it unbalance.
Sometimes there is no way to stop it.
