Question
I use Windows XP on a Dell computer that has three users. I have tried to delete Limewire from my computer. However, when my daughter uses the computer a Limewire launcher error comes up that says limewire unable to load, please download and install limewire again. What do I need to do to get rid of this? Please make it very simple, not good with computers.

Answer
Hello Patricia,

It seems that this is a common issue with LimeWire as I have seen various posts/emails with the same or similar issue.  I found a posting on a forum that seems to have permanently fixed these problems for various people.

Here's the link:

You probably may just want to start with #5 in the instructions, but to be safe, go ahead and follow all of them except for #6 (which is for re-installation... unless, of course, you want to reinstall it).

I hope this helps.

Keep me posted.
