Question How many Unitarians in the US in 1959?
Answer Dear David –
As I said, for 3 ½, I would get back with you early this week on how many Unitarians there were in 1959.
The UUA National office checked their archives and found that there were about 100,500 in both 1958 and 1959. These figures are, of course, prior to the merger of the Unitarians and Universalists in May of 1961.
This follow up concludes statistical gathering. Hope these three answers suffice.
