2. Our two state senators are, Barbara Boxer (D) and Dianne Feinstein (D)
3. Professional Teams:
NFL: San Francisco 49ers, San Diego Chargers, and Oakland Raiders
NBA: Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, Sacramento Kings
NHL: Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, Los Angeles Kings, and San Jose Sharks
MLB: Anaheim Angels, Oakland A's, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres, and San Francisco Giants
4. Our major state industry all depends on who you ask:
If you ask someone in L.A. they are going to tell you that it would have to be movies! If you ask someone from the Central Valley they could list any number of types of agriculture (oranges, milk, beef, cotton, walnuts). I would have to go with oranges and milk.
5. Our residents are called Californians. Or surfers! Just joking.
