Question Hi. Who would be best to contact at UC Berkeley if our group of parents wished to invite someone from UC Berkeley to address our group at a public meeting on the topic of "Everything you wanted to know about college admissions but were afraid to ask."
We are local in the Bay Area. I would have the meeting at our new library. Also, I would see if our Mayor would be able to introduce the speaker to the audience.
Feel free to reach me at 925-738-5845.
Thanks,
David Kriozere
Answer I think you could try the admissions department at www.berkeley.edu, but I dont know if they do something like that, although it is a very good idea. You might just want to try the career counselor at a local high school.
I would volunteer but I dont know if I have enough of the precise information that you would be looking for. I live in El Cerrito so I am nearby, but like I said I just know my experiences not the full ins and outs! :-)
