Subject: Wharton Huntsman Program

Question
I know that this is slightly outside of your area of expertise but I was wondering how much prestige, if any, does being a Huntsman program graduate have? Furthermore would it be more prestigeous, or likely to get a better job, being a Wharton graduate (as an undergrad) or a Yale or Stanford graduate (again as an undergrad)
Would getting an Undergrad Degree from Yale or Stanford and then getting and MBA from UPenn work better? (as you can see I'm torn in matters of deciding what college to attend so any help in trying to eliminate at least one of the the three would be GREATLY appreciated)

Thanks,
Diego

Answer
Hello and thank you for your question!

The Huntsman program is very prestigious, and you get access to a lot of resources other students may find harder to come by. Additionally, you'll have an international focused alumni body to network with, and they are an integral part of your educational value.
With regards to the comparison between schools, overall, there is no better place to be for job placement than Wharton. Employers love the mindset and work ethic of its students. Stanford does have a larger alumni network in the Silicon Valley, Yale competes in a similar space to Wharton. Given that an MBA program is at least 8 years away, it's important to keep post-undergrad placement a priority and take your MBA considerations when the time comes.

I hope this has been helpful, please let me know if you need anything else.

Adarsh
