Subject: uta college of pharmacy
Question Im currently going to UTD and wanted to transfer in two years, so I can join the six year joint pharmacy program, but now I realized that you had to start that program as a high school student. Is it possible if I can still join that program after completing the prepharmacy prerequisites? Thanks
Answer Hi Sumit,
Well, this is a little out of my range of expertise. You might be able to get special permission from the department, or you might be able to enter a different kind of program.
I recommend calling or emailing either:
The Health Professions Office
http://cns.utexas.edu/hpo/
or
The College of Pharmacy itself.
http://www.utexas.edu/pharmacy/students/advising/index.html
On that webpage there is special information for students interested in transferring into UT's pharmacy program, under "Transfer Students".
I hope this helps you!
