Deciding that my experience probably outweighs most of the RedHat support people, I decided to go with the Fedora branch when RedHat decided to close RHEL and release Fedora Core.

Question Hello. I am From Armenia and i have a different situation.
I have insstalled Windows XP and in second partitioning Linux(Mandriva 6.0) I have not a Desktop envirenment support in it. Now I want to uninsstall Linux, and I do not want loose any information in Windows part.
My hard disc C fully belong Windows and part Hard disc E too. Linux use only a part hard disc E.
Please give me any suggestion how uninstall Linux. I do not have any Linux OS disc.

The first thing you will want to do is uninstall GRUB or LILO (depending on your distro.) The easiest way to do this is to use your Windows XP CD and enter the Recover Console mode. Once you're in the Recovery Console, type FIXBOOT. Be careful here, as it can make a mess of your Master Boot Record if you're not careful.
Once you've removed GRUB/LILO, you can simply reformat the partition in Windows to NTFS or FAT32 using the Disk Manager in your System Management console.
