AboutGrayson Blöm Expertise I can answer questions regarding the most common cause of health problems in America today, the Subluxation. A subluxation is the misalignment of a bone to the extent that it puts abnormal pressure on and interferes with the communication between the brain and the rest of the body. Putting pressure on nerves and interfering with those mental impulses going from the brain to the rest of the body. Brain to body communication is essential to maintain health! According to Gray’s Anatomy the purpose of the nervous system is to control and coordinate all the cell, tissues, organs, and system’s in the body and to adapt that person’s body to the environment around them. So if the purpose of the nervous system is to control and coordinate everything in the body then it would make sense that we would want to take care of this system. Therefore interference to the nervous system or lack of communication between the brain and the body would then be the most common cause of health problems in the world today.

Question I recently had a mylegram. It reads: Right-sided scar, disc tissue or a combination there of causes effacement and displacement of the thecal sac at L5-S1 level. Can this be the cause of my severe sciatic pain? I had spinal surgery 4 years ago for a lesion on my right sciatic nerve. The removed 2 vertebrae that were pressed against the sciatic nerve. Now the pain in my left hip and leg is worse than it was in the right before my surgery. My Dr is not giving me any answers except there is nothing he can do. I can't live with this severe pain.
Answer You are exactly right in that this is the most likely cause of your sciatic pain, with the information given.
With your current situation it would be a good idea to get evaluated by an Upper Cervical Doctor. To find one near you try this website www.uppercervicalcare.com or www.kcucs.org.
