Question
What r u saying?  I am not going to forward any of this to anyone or watever u call it...i have no idea how...i just want to know if it is actually believable or not?  please tell me for my future and education lies on it...i would just like to know if i am going to perish and how?

Answer
Dear Jason,

I'm not sure what the message sent to you said, it's the auto response I can choose from AllExperts saying that your question is outside my expertise.

I'm not even sure what 'legend' you're referring to, a quick google search indicates it might be this one:
http://www.greatdreams.com/2012.htm

I have not heard anything of this before you asked me, which really seems to indicate that major news sources don't find these 'theories' credible.

As to something being believable or not, that's not something I can say.  I can say that *I* don't believe it, but whether you believe it or not is up to you, and what you decide after researching the facts and checking their sources for truthfulness.

This is not an urban legend, and isn't anything I can really offer any info on other than my own opinion.  There are other answers from other "experts" at this page which sums up the situation well:

In short, I would say that no one can know the future.  Anyone who says so is selling something.  Live your life, and base your future and education on your own goals and dreams, and not someone else's made up prediction of what might or might not happen.

Hope this helps!

Cassandra
