Question

i learned about a thing called penis puppets and started doing them...and....

I got Epididymist 3 weeks ago on my left tecticle from constantly touching the tesicle and flipping it inside the sac. This was confirmed by an ultrasound and urologist.

During the next several days i was worried and kept feeling the right side for differences in pain and soon after the right epididymis was inflamed. Went back to the Urologist and he confirmed this. He asked me what was going on and i told him. I asked him if atrophy was possible and he said dont worry about it im fine because its trauma not an infection. He gave me cirpo and ibuprofen.

I have now finished the meds today and i still get sharp pain and aches, not as bad as orginally.

MY Question is this.

Knowing mine wasnt caused by sex (im a virgin) and that i have inflamation on both sides behind the top part of the testicle, Is it possible for my testicles to shrink? and could i have caused permant damage some how?

TRUST ME I learned my lesson, i am never going to pull yank, flip or exert any force on my testicles again, im also letting them heal by not touching no more.

thanks doc

Dupree:

First, you obviously know that you should really direct these questions to your physician.  I cannot even be 100% certain of your diagnosis.

For example, was it epididymitis, epididymo-orchitis or just orchitis?  Was there also prostatitis?  Each has slightly different characteristics.

Inflammation or epididymitis of both testicles could have consequences on fertility if scar tissue blocks the sperm passages inside the epididymis bilaterally.  I would suggest that when this all quiets down, you ask your physician for a sperm count.  It may not be likely, but it's a possibility.

It is possible for one or both testicles to shrink or atrophy, particularly if their blood supply is compromised.  However, it's not particularly likely.  When you cross the street, it possible to get hit by a car, but not likely.

Yes, you could have caused permanent damage.  I wish that more people like you would not try these types of so called exercises on the testicles or penis.  All they seem to do is cause pain, discomfort and problems.  This forum is full of guys just like you who ended up hurting themselves by similar foolish "exercises".  At least you learned your lesson.
