Question hey I'm an 17 years old
and for about 3 years now
i have begin on an off
with blood coming out of my penis
it usually goes for a couple of days
then it stops for about a month
or so i went to the doctors years ago
i had a tube up my penis they looked
threw and nothing was wrong
and now its started up again
I'm getting worried again
what could this be?
Answer Michael:
You asked what it could be. I could give you a long list, but that's not the real issue. Most causes of blood in the urine in your age group are not serious, but you could have strictures, stones, kidney problems or polyps. I'm afraid another checkup with a urologist is needed to be sure there isn't anything serious going on. Just because your earlier evaluation was negative is no guarantee that something significant isn't happening now.
