Subject: popped blood vessel = loss of sex drive?
Question I have a hernia and sometimes pop a blood vessel as a result. I recently had cum alot more blood than usual and
slowly since then have been losing sex drive.
I am very worried about this possibly being permanant
can you help?
Answer Derek:
I don't understand why you think that having a hernia would cause you to "pop a blood vessel". Blood in the semen is a condition called hematospermia. While it's a little scary, hematospermia is usually a benign and self-limiting problem that typically goes away by itself.
You're losing sex drive. The most common causes of this are low male hormone levels (testosterone) and psychological, stress, anxiety, depression and similar issues. Talk to your physician about this as it's usually treatable.
