Subject: lack of ejaculate

Question
1.5 years ago had a Lazar procedure for enlarged prostrate, since then have been unable to ejaculate!is there any hope of my ever ejaculating again.even throw i am 63 years old i really miss this part of my sexuality!!please advise if anything can be done to restore my ejaculation abilities??thank you for any help in this manner.

Answer
Merrill:

You need to be very specific about what you want.  Typically, after a laser procedure, part of the prostate is vaporized.  This includes the part that directs semen out of the penis.  Therefore, lack of ejaculation is an expected consequence of the surgery.  I am unaware of any treatment for this since the anatomy has been irretreivably altered.  Usually, orgasm, climax and erection ability is not affected.  You should have been informed of this prior to your surgery.
