Urology - urine accompanies ejaculations in sleep
Expert: Stephen W. Leslie, MD - 11/8/2009
Question hello, i am a 43 year old male, unmarried and not sexually active for past several years. i have an enlarged prostate due to excessive masturbation in my late teens and early 20's.
for past 2 years, i am noticing that every 2-3 weeks, i will have a wet dream and i will ejaculate. However, there is also urine discharged about 4-5 teaspoons.
also my erections are weak and i feel an inward withdrawing into the abdomen of the whole apparatus during erection.
what am i suffering from? what can i medically do about this?
a few years ago, i also had urodynamics examination done and the result was that the urologist ended up pushing a steel rod up my urethra to enlarge the diameter and reduce the pressure.
kindly reply.
thank you,
- Alex
Answer Alex:
First, masturbation does not cause prostate enlargement.
Weak erections is usually due to blood flow issues, early diabetes or other problems.
I can't explain your sensation of inward drawing of the penis.
The procedure you had previously was a urethral dilation, usually done for strictures (scarred or narrowed areas) in the urinary passage.
I would suggest you consult a urologist for an opinion on these problems.
