Urology/libido problem

what are the available treatments for loss of libido? what can urologists do for this condition?

Do you reject the use of herbal treatments for this even though many have been in use for hundreds of years?

Decreased libido has been linked to drug use, alcohol abuse, prescription medications, depression and low testosterone.  Urologists can check for and treat low male hormone, but the other causes are best treated by others.

We reject the use of herbal treatments because there are no adequate peer reviewed studies showing efficacy.  The fact that some may have been used for years is no proof of efficacy or safety.  If you wish to try them, understand that you do so at your own risk.
