My husband , 54 yrs has noticed few blood spots in his pyjamas every morning for past 5 days. There is no pain associated with micturition, no haematuria . He is non diabetic and non hypertensive .he is well built, regular with his exercise and gym. It's worrying me. What can be the cause? What all investigations are advised?

The blood is probably nothing, but it should be checked out.  Typically, this requires a CT Urogram x-ray of the kidneys and a cystoscopy; a look into the bladder with a special telescope.  Most of the time, nothing is found but it's best to be sure. Consult a local urologist.
