Urology/stricture in urinary tract in the prostrateregion.

Kindly advise the best treatment for urinary tract cystoscopy and surgery advisableV

Optimal treatment for strictures depends on the exact location, length and etiology of the stricture.  To make this determination, we often use x-rays, retrograde urethrograms and cystoscopy.  Simple treatments like dilation or a simple cutting of the stricture is sometimes successful.  More involved surgeries like urethroplasty (cutting out the strictured area) can be done for more complicated cases.  Since each case is different, you'll want to consult with a urologist with some experience in this area.
