Question
I get frequent infections because of bph.my last infection 3 weeks ago was cleared up by doxycycline.my urine had no white cells.now only problem I hhave is urinating everu hour.will this currently with no infection tend to cause another infection by itself

Answer
Howard

I have answered this before. Frequent urination will not usually cause harm or infections, but you have prostate enlargement which is the underlying cause. This BPH can cause permanent bladder or kidney damage if not adequately treated. You already know that you will probably get another infection at some time. Talk to your urologist about further trearment options for you.
