Urology/Erectile problem

QUESTION: Hi, please help. Im 32.Few months back I was rough on my penis. When intercourse with my gf I continued even after ejaculation to let my gf cum. I fell some pain on my lower stomach that time. Next day I got pain in my testicles, painful urinate, semen and blood in urin. This lasted 2 days. Then I had painful ejaculation when intercourse. After few days my penis won't erect. When oral will feel tingling sensation. Now no more tingling sensation but won't erect. Seen a doctor and he didn't do any test and asked me take Viagra for a while. It's been long and my penis can't erect without Viagra. Can't recall when in the injury but I saw something like a nerve came out with my urin once. I do have morning erection sometimes but soft. Please help me. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately there is no curative treatment available. Use of Viagra or Cialis may be needed until it heals. Check with a local urologist to verify this.

QUESTION: Thanks for your quick response. What do you think really happened to me based on my symptoms? Do nerves grow back if severed? How long this might take to heal approximately? Thanks again.

What happened exactly is not clear. It could be anything from a bruise to a corporeal or prostate injury. A nerve injury is possible but less likely.  Nerve injuries, when they occur, heal only very slowly. Severing if a nerve may not ever heal.  The exact nature of your injury may never be precisely, especially if the physical examination is normal.
