I have a bump on the inside of my penis when is only noticeable when limp or semi erect. I noticed it after masterbation with my silicone sex toy imitation vagina. It's a popular brand of sex toy and I couldn't find anything like this documented.
It looks like a line about 1 inch long and thin like a speed bump across a road. It's near the middle/lower portion on the right side of my shaft. It's not part of the skin but attached to the inside of the penis itself as you can move the skin over it without the bump moving. It doesn't hurt and doesn't curve my penis when erect. it's just there. You Can't notice it when erect. When you rub the area when hard you can't feel a thing, just a normal penis. I've had sex and masterbated a few times since then to look for problems but I can't find any. It happened a few days ago and I wanted to know if it will go away on it's own, like a hemiroid or something. Could masterbating have damaged my penis somehow? I'm afraid if I use my penis, that it could cause more damage.
Please let me know what you think it could be, doctors offices closed on holidays..
Answer Without an exam I can't tell for sure what this lump is. It could be scar tissue, a thrombosed vein, a sebaceous cyst or Peyronie's disease to name a few possibilities. Therefore, I can't say if it will go away on it's own or not. It is highly unlikely that masturbation caused any permanent damage. Consult a urologist for a definitive opinion.
