Urology/Kallman Syndrome

Question
I have been diagnosed with AIS, Partial Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome also known as Hypogonadism due to Testosterone receptor failure. On HRT since 1998 with more or less results I find it very hard to find proper care from local urologists or andocrinologists. They are not familiar with the desease and show nothing but contempt. Do you know someone who could help? This condition is very hard to deal with as a man and it feels that options are running out...

Answer
I'm sorry, but I'm unaware of any specific experts in this type of syndrome.  Treatment is relatively straightforward as we typically use androgen replacement therapy.

You are likely to get more help with endocrinology than urology.  Try a specialist at a tertiary care medical school university center.
