Question
I have been contemplating getting my penis pierced, normally this is no big deal; however I want to get a barbell through the middle of my shaft horizontally, I have a piercer who says he can do it and has done it before.  What are the best and worst case scenarios for such a piercing?

Answer
Such piercings are definitely not recommended.  Not only do they aloow for possible infection, but may damage either the erection mechanism or possibly the urethra.  If I knew of a "piercer" who would do this, I would be legally required to report him to proper authorities!  I strongly recommend that you NOT have this done.  Please reconsider.
