I too took FLOWMAX and had retrograde problems and switched to URAXATROL which lessened that. My urologist said he thought FLOWmax worked better.....I also too AVODART and believe them when they say it might cause breast swelling. I have had that, it has NOT gone away despite being off the drug 5 months. I was also very tender nipple wise for a time but that stopped. My right breast is smaller than the left and I consulted a plastic surgeon.....he confirmed the change (since Avodart) and my insurance will NOT cover a reduction so I will be balanced...My urologist kept saying that it only happened to .5 % of men who took the drug-- well it happened TO ME !
