I was just doing a random search on a weird trait about my body and how I can ejaculate from doing leg raises, and I came across this article.



When I was 15 (keep in mind, I was unaware of masturbation and ejaculating, kind of sheltered), I was trying to get into shape to impress girls and I was doing leg raises. A good six-pack is key. I stopped after 5 reps because I got an urge to go pee. So I went to the bathroom but nothing happened, which I found odd.



So I went to do more leg raises, and got the urge to go pee once again. I stopped and went to the bathroom. Again, when I got to the bathroom, the urge was gone. I went back to doing leg raises, and the urge to pee comes, but this time I ignore it because of the previous two times (I call it: the bladder that cried pee). I freaked out because I pissed my pants, and I freaked out even more because it wasn't pee.



For me, it would only happen with hanging leg raises. I can do sit-ups and other ab exercises, but I have to be careful with hanging leg raises.

I had the exact same thing happen to me when I was young.  I am also male, and would get this "tingling sensation" in my groin when I would climb rope in gym class, or poles outside. I never understood what was happening, just that it felt good, and would temporarily imobilize me.  If I couldn't climb high enough to get the feeling I would climb the rope repeatedly until I felt it.  Overexerting my abdominal muscles would make sense as to the reasoning behind it.  Strange though that now (26) I go to the gym religiously, and do very extensive abdominal exercises including hanging leg raises, and I have never even remotely felt the same feeling.  



It might be noteworthy that I have a rare hip disease called Leg Perthes that would have made my groin area weaker/different than other young boys.  Interesting (and a bit relieving) to know that some others have had the same experience).

My story is quite similar to Bob's.  I'm 18, and I first had the bladder that cried pee in weight training at school.  I'd been doing crunches and sit ups my whole life, but the first time I did knee-ups in class, I had the feeling to pee.  I went to the bathroom. Nothing.  I tried more knee-ups, got the sensation and went to the bathroom. Once again, nothing.  I stopped doing them altogether because I was afraid to soil myself in front of the whole class.



It wasnt until I ignored the urge while doing some investigation at home when I realized what was really going on.  I'd ejaculated all over my underwear.  Its nice to finally know I'm not the only one with this happening.

This also is a relatively recent experience I've been experiencing. I've been divorced for about three years, with no sexual activity. I don't practice masturbation. Not that I never do it, but I don't typically or frequently have the urge to release sexual tension in that manner.



So naturally, I had thought the lack of sexual activity was the main contributor to the ejaculation during ab workouts. But I assume the others on this forum are not experiencing a lack of sexual activity, so maybe it just has something to do with my anatomy.

I also experienced this as a child when climbing poles or ropes, however not with abdominal workouts. I still get the sensation when climbing, but have never ejeculated. I too had a lower abdominal hernia corrected when I was very young.

I had a similar experience when 12 or 13 yrs. I was trying to work up to 100 situps. One day I got on the bed thinking they would be easier there. I got to 70 and was really straining but refused to quit. At about 80-85 I started to ejaculate but kept going anyway to finish the 100.

Ever since, if I work abs hard with leg lifts, situps I will ejaculate. Also if I do an isometric holding my legs up 12 inches off the floor or flutter kick, I will ejaculate after 3 or 4 minutes. I don't usually get much of an erection when this happens either. You can always wear a condom if your worried at the gym! I'd like to compare notes with others about this as I have talked to  at least two other guys who had or have this "problem" Actually I see it as incentive to work the abs to the limit!

Hey I had the same problem when I was a kid and know of others that have been able to do it.

We would climb ropes and poles just to experience the sensation. I believe that it is muscles in the groin and buttocks stimulating the prostate.

You're not alone.  I remember when I was in elementary school and had to climb either a rope or pole I would ejaculate.  At first there was no actual discharge do to my age, but a few years later once i actually hit puberty I did ejaculate.  To this day, I can't climb a rope or pole do to this.

I suggest trying leg pushouts where you lie down and pull knees up to chest and then push out till legs are straight and about a foot above the floor. This makes it happen  for me if I go to failure. It is not clothing friction (try it in the nude if you want to test that theory. I think this happens to women too who do hard abs workouts.

If you feel yourself starting to release, stop the pushouts and hold the extended position as long as you can. Makes release VERY intense!

I'm not a Doctor thus take my answer only as another similar as you who has wondered about this for many years.

Your situation is almost Identical to my own experiences which began when I was 5 or 6 years of age.

I continued to do this up until I was 13 years of age and was told I was masturbating but not correctly.

I had been doing this daily 4 or 5 times especially at home while lying across my bed rail,and hugging it tightly with my groin.

I'm thankful now at 55 years of age to read of another such person.

I'm going for a variety of tests at a Urologist this will be one of my first queries to him I suggest you as well seek Medical answers from a Doctor.

Same thing started for me at age 6 though from fear of peeing my pants I never went any further.  One day at age 11 I went to the point of no return and wow was that a warm fuzzy great feeling, I think this was an orgasm, and I did it 5-10 times a day with no ejaculate leaving me.

I havn't gone to a doctor about this, but I go for extensive testing anually and my doctor always says I am very healthy and in shape.



I don't like it because as soon as it happens, my workout is done and my energy is spent, I would like to continue to workout and not have this happen.

The exactly same thing happened to me. I am 12 and whenever I do abs exsesises like leg lifts I eventually ejaculate. I find it really fun and have a nice feeling when I do it. I dont know why it happens but its nice. I do it about at least 4 times a week.

This happens to me too. A lot of the stories seem to be childhood stories. It first happened to me when I was 8 or so, but then it stopped and I forgot about it. When I was about 18, doing intensive sports training, it started again. Now I'm 22 and it's still happening. Although it's comforting to see that I'm not the only one, I would like to know why.

I've also "suffered" with the same condition. Climbing poles or ropes at an early age brought it on as a pre-pubescent kid, and later in life when cycling or working out I came close - though never as intense.

I went to the same thing, in elementary school during gym when we got to climb the rope i would get the sensation of urinating in my pants which would cause me to freeze,found i didn't pee and didn't understand what was going on. I am 42.  I recently started to do chin ups.  And the urge to ejaculate has come with it.  What's a bit strange is that I did chin ups infrequently when I was younger and I don't ever remember the urge to ejaculate.  The only thing different this time, is that I am doing ab crunches simultaneously.

I think it is from massage of the prostate by the adjacent organs of bladder and bowel, particularly if all three are full are full. Likely to happen when doing many ab crunches with some contents in bladder and bowel, especially if the groin is momentarily relaxed  between each lift.

I can totally understand your problem as I often get involuntary ejaculations without any stimulation at all. The volume of semen is usually a lot more and the orgasm much more intense than with normal ejaculation so it can be very embarrassing sometimes

Wow Gordon, your scenario is almost identical to mine!



I'm ten years of age and I've always had a passion for climbing – when I was younger I used to get belts, string, straps, loads of stuff and sort of fashion homemade harnesses and mess about on my bed (it was a big steel bunkbed) and I used to hang there for quite some time – I used to get butterflies in my stomach and such with this, and on some occasions I recall what may have been orgasms.



Currently I'm using some baby/toddler reigns – a big pair as a sit harness, and a small pair for a chest harness, and a rather nice set of red and grey gloves (they're my little brother's) to protect my hands. It seems there's a few of us who get this sort of feeling (and reaction) whilst roped-up.



I'm ten my dad has a load of climbing gear in our garage, and there's a rather nice secure D–Ring on the side of our house. I usually take with me a rope, a descender, a few carabiners and my great pair of black and dark blue climbing gloves. I tend to fit my Dad's harness to my size – it's a good Miller IBEXX2R black harness. I find if you're really comfortable while doing this it helps a lot – although this does seem a bit camp and such I've got a really sleek soft black baby–grow :) But I basically climb out of a window next to the D-Ring with the harness on and most of the stuff already there on the upstairs window ledge, and gently ease myself onto the weight of the rope. I tend to kick a bit like ‘HK’ says, but I just invert myself and sort of scrabble on the wall with my boots and gloves until I get the sensation I desire and then pull up slightly on the central part of the harness and sort of pull towards my groin – still no idea why this works – and I just hang there for as long as I can hold myself until my strength drains and then I think I orgasm, but no ejaculate leaves me – probably because I haven't matured in that way yet, but I cannot wait.

I donned my gloves and readied myself to slide down the wall towards everyone. I could feel my feet slipping already – the only thing holding me at the moment was my fingers just on top of the wall - 70FT in the air. I slipped before I was ready though and ended up scrabbling for grip on the flat metal surface whilst picking up speed. My buddy quickly realised something wasn't right and yanked the rope into the stop position – as I suddenly stopped, flailing on the end of the rope in my small harness and chest harness, he took off slightly. The force of the stop broke the bolt that I was clipped into on the flat surface, meaning that when my buddy (a rather fat kid) landed again, I was dragged sideways off the wall into the middle of the complex at about 60FT and I felt a slight sensation of tingling in my groin.

I've been able to do this since I was 12-13 and I'm over 60 now. 90-100 leg lifts will do it or holding my legs up 12 inches for 3-4 minutes. Long intense ejaculation but not much of an erection. From reading what everyone else has to say, sounds like a pretty normal thing to me. Also makes me want to see if i can do it again. I don't think it should be looked at as a problem and if so its a good one!  It amazes me how long this thread has been going for, since 2007 it looks like.

While I can relate to a lot of the experiences on here, I do differ in some ways. While I don`t remember when I first discovered this ability, I have been doing it for as long as I can remember. Like many of you, climbing ropes, walls, or poles was always an easy trigger. Also, I remember trying to climb onto inflatable pool chairs or other floating items that would easily slip away. As I would thrust my leg up and down attempting to get a good grip, I would experience a pleasure like no other and eventually ejaculate.

Immediately following ejaculation, my body goes limp and I am forced to stop exercising at that point. I have accomplished this by doing pull-ups, sit-ups, push-ups, leg-lifts, and even jumping jacks. If I push myself past my physical limits on any exercise it will occur without fail - no matter the exercise.   



My "condom" of choice has always been one of those soft plastic fruit/veggie sacs you find in the produce section. They are pretty large in surface area, and are easy to tie around the penis to prevent leakage. They are also free. So if you ever see someone pulling out three or four sacs in the produce section with nothing to put in them, you know why ;)



I feel like I have really built up my sexual stamina and abilities after all this experience. I can work myself up to full-on ejaculate 4-5 times a day if I want to. Doing it only once every 2-3 days enhances the quality of the experience, however.

Wow this seems to be much more common than I thought! Here is my story:



When i was about 11 my family got a pull-up bar in my house. We got it for workout purposes, but I liked to fool around on it, not being really into exercising at that age, naturally.
