Question QUESTION: Hi,
I was working in a corporate industry, where I have opened an account in Citibank as savings account ( was not actually using it). I resigned and I am in other country now. I am not able to close the account when I was leaving. I have cleared the account and I want to close it now. Is this possible? If yes, how can I do that?
ANSWER: Nalini, You say you cleared the account. I'm guessing that means that you withdrew the balance. You should be able to go to the "contact us" section on the www.citi.com site and either email or call to proceed with closing your account. Jim
