Subject: non profit banking

Question
Dear Ryan:

I have just incorporated as a non profit with the state of Florida and am looking for a bank.  What kinds of questions should I ask them?  What sort of benefits are standard or are available for non-profits through a bank?

Yours,
Susie Walther

Answer
Most banks offer checking accounts that have little or no fees for non profits and pay interest.  I would Google banks in your area and see what they have to offer.  You can also call or visit a branch and ask them what kid of accounts they offer for non-profits.
