Using Banks and Bank Accounts - Post dated checks

Expert: Shane - 4/30/2009

Question
I seen the answer on post dated checks that it does not land on yur banks hands. I had a photo company agree that I could write a post dated check for 2 weeks later, and they would not turn it in till the date on the check, the lady even circled the date.Well they turned it in a week earlier and well when that happened if cause a snowball effect. And they say its not there fault. Would the nfs charges for all the nfs thats was caused by there check coming in early? I live in the state of Alabama

Answer
I guess I dont understand the question fully.  But based on what you put in there, if there were any NSF charges assesed that would be between you and the company that agreed not to cash the check early to settle.  The banks charges would remain valid and your responsibility.
