Subject: Converting Lat Long into X,Y co-ordinates

Question
Dear vahab48_Sajadi,

I have 4 geographical positions in digital degrees (in the Southern Ocean) approx 53 S and 38 W, and I would like to convert them into X,Y co-ordinates with respect to absolute distance between these points. One of these points could be used as a reference for the rest of the grid.

Please let me know if you need any further clarifications.

Thank you very much in advance,
Tanja.

Answer
Tanja,
There are several programs capable of converting coordinates.
Have a look at the following sites

Good luck
Sajadi
