Question Hi Paski,
I have a problem while deploying my own-designed Lotus Apps in server.
The application runs smoothly as expected in my Local PC, but when I copied the app (database) to the server, I found some function anomalies...
I'm using Lotus Notes and Designer 7.0.1 for development, and the domino server is also using the same version.
Here's the chronology:
In my app/database, I have a main frame set which contain 3 frames:
1. the navigation frame in left which spread vertically from top to bottom,
2. the VIEW in the top right frame, and
3. the FORM in bottom right for previewing the details of selected item in VIEW.
When I clicked on a menu/link in the left nav frame, the top-right VIEW should change as requested by the nav link, and the bottom-right FORM should also refreshed automatically following the top-right VIEW.
It works smoothly when I ran directly the app/database locally.
But, when I copied the app/database to server and try to access it from my local PC, I found anomalies...
The FORM doesn't refreshed aitomatically following the VIEW changes. I have first to click/select one of available item in VIEW before the FORM refreshed. I don't want it to be like that, I want it automatically change when the VIEW changes...
FYI, each different type of VIEW have diffent type of FORM, for example, my Calendar View has some kind of reservation form with dates and times fields. But my Room Master view has a few text fields.
What happen to my database? Is there any specific setting or code to make my local development fully compatible with my server???

I duplicated your issue and came to the conclusion that this is a fundamental notes flaw.
May be you should report this to Lotus Quality.
Sorry, I could not find any work around and whatever I tried, crashed my notes client.
