Hi,
Look under archiving in the notes help.
Detailed explanations are there. To find how to set up a client based archiving, look under scheduling under archiving. You can also set up the archive settings but need not schedule. You can run it manually.
Notes help has answers to almost all client based operations. I strongly suggest that you use it.
