Question
I want to find a table entry with two criteria and edit a field at the same entry. For this I use findfirst criteria expression like below:
*******
Criteria = "[HemProNo]=" & Val(Me!Text104)_ And "[AnaSelected] = True"
rsPrint2.FindFirst Criteria
*******
But I encounter the error message "Run-Time Error 13: Type mismatch"
What is the wrong thing in expression
Please help me
Thanks in advance
A. erdinη Yalın

Answer
Hi Erdinc,

The datatype for the underlying field [HemProNo] should be numeric if its a non-aphunumeric value, and secondly the field [Text104] should contain a numeric value if the underlying fields datatype is strictly numeric. You will not be able to search for text on a numeric datatype field.
This is one reasons for your type mismatch error.

Also check what are you referring rsPrint2 <--- what reference ??

Let me know,
Best regards,
Manish Batola.
