Using MS Access - How to secure access database

Expert: Scottgem - 6/29/2009

Question
i want secure my database for example when i  distribute my database to other users the user just do the data entry they can not open the database desing
Thanks in advance

Answer
Use Tools>Startup to configure the app so that only your custom emnus are avialable. Then save the app as an MDE file (split it first). An MDE file is psuedo compiled so it does not allow access to most of the database design.

Hope this helps,
