Using MS Access - report layout shows 2 pages, print preview shows 1

Expert: Scottgem - 7/10/2009

Question
I have a very simple database, keeps track of addresses by category. Example: Photography - Yuen Lui, Sears, etc. The purpose is to print out address labels and lists of the addresses, filtered by category.

I am able to print address labels fine. For some reason, when I run a report that prints the addresses alone, it only prints the first page. The print preview shows all the pages. It does this whether I am filtering or not.

I did a little tweeking of the Report, Category Header and Detail properties, but I didn't see anything there that would have caused the problem. I can provide you with a  dummy version of the program if you'd like.

I haven't found anything like this on the net - help? - Andrea

Answer
hmmm, that does sound wierd. You can send a zipped copy of the database to:

dafiles at optonline.net  (use the @ sign, no spaces)

Include a copy of your note with it.

Hope this helps,

Works fine for me. The only thing I can suggest is that you make sure your printer setings are set to print all.

Hope this helps,
