Using MS Access/"Bring to front"

Question
Hi Scott,

May be an easy one, but sadly I cannot find the code syntax for it, if it exists...  :)

If I want someone to answer a question from a command box prompt, I then want to hide everything else on the form.

The form has a rectangle (Box15) as part of it's background appearance, which currently has it's format set to "Send to Back".   It's size also more than encompasses everything on the form, and that way everything appears to be sited above it...

Is there a way to make the box "Bring to Front" state via code, and once the question is answered, back to "send to back" mode?

thanks in anticipation

Pete

Answer
Yes, there are a whole bunch of constants that can be used with DoCmd.RunCommand. Basically these can duplicate anything that can be done from the menus.

DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdBringToFront or acCmdSendToBack

should do what you want.

Hope this helps,
Scott<>
