Using MS Access/Printing selected record reports

Question
QUESTION: Hi!
I anxiously need your help.
I am developing a payroll system that has a checkbox column. The checkbox could allow you to select specific records and the send their report to the printer for printing.  Initially it was working perfect, I don't know what happened for it to start printing reports for all the records regardless of whether they are selected or not. It prints reports for all yet the selected are shown! Is there anything that I have done to by-pass the selection?? Kindly help.

ANSWER: How are you triggering the report? What is the Recordsource of the report?

Hope this helps,

QUESTION: Hi Scott,
I really appreciate your continuous support. Unfortunately the links couldn't get me any further on the question.  The record source is the main table query. Previously it was printing only selected records with the provided criteria, but after modifying the report and inserting a few columns, it started printing reports for all the records of which it is not supposed to be.
Am down on this, with sleepless nights. Your help will be rewarded.

Answer
I need to know how you are triggering the report and I need to know EXACTLY what the Recordsource is. If it is a query, I need to see the SQL statement for that query (use SQL view in query design mode and you can copy and paste).

For the report to only print specific records, there has to be criteria, either in the query or in the command to run the report, that filters for the specified records. I suspect that has changed, but to advise I need to see them.

Hope this helps,
