Using MS Access/trouble with Access files

Question
hello again, Scottgem!

You gave me a much-appreciated reply on my question of  how to find sample chapters for the Microsoft Access 2010 Step by Step book.

I was able to find them; I stored them in my Windows Explorer.
But when I tried to open them, I got a failure message for all but the Chap1 file. The message looks like:

Can't find Language DLL msain.dll

What in the world does that gobbledegook mean?
Should I send the files to the Recycle Bin and start over, or what?

Thanks

Chris

Answer
I would suggest that you contact Microsoft Press on that. The error message would indicate you need a language module that should have come with Windows.

You can find email addresses for support for the book here:

https://www.microsoftpressstore.com/about/support

Tell then the exact message, the name of the file you downloaded and the name of the book.

Hope this helps,
Scott<>
