Subject: Move an asp website to another host server

Question
Hi,
There is a website where i need to move it to another host server.
It's a asp website with database. They have a lot f emails accounts.
This website has an application where client logins and they access.
What's the best way to move this website and what kind of information do i need from the person who owns this website?
They also want me to monitor their emails, how can i do that?
Will the application and the database will be a problem?

Thank you very much for your help.

Answer
Hi,

you are better off explaining the situation to the new hosting provider's technical staff they can assist you better. Reason I am not suggesting anything is that every host has got different settings and different requirements, you might sometimes have to re-write a bit of code as well to adjust to the new hosting environment.

If you need help with any specific problems while shifting do let me know, but technical support comes first.

Regards,
Riz
