My specialty is the design of Object Oriented Solutions with robust, data aware object classes. I generally avoid the classic ‘Three Tier’ model as I find it redundant and cumbersome to maintain. I also specialize in the creation of ‘User Friendly’ User Interfaces which help lessen the need for user training and help prevent user error. Question Hi,
i had a crystal report.it takes time to load.so i would like to show the user that it is loading
so that like to know how can I create a progress bar that will show the progress of a loading crystal report in vb.net?
Answer Mino,
The catch here would be to have a message from the load of the report (almost certainly a query or stored procedure) that will allow you to receive the progress of that query as it runs. I do not know of a way to do this, but there may be one.
In such cases, I set the active form cursor to cursors.WaitCursor to let the user know a process is running (at least if you are on a windows form).
