Subject: Captuing all events

Question
Is it possible in VB.Net to capture any and all possible events without writing every single possible handler? In Java I would just grab the eventqueue and use it anyway I like but I am not sure if that is possible in VB. I would like to write a simple program that lists events as they happen no matter which component the event is happening to (Basically just list the event text in a textbox or something). If I move the mouse it says so, if I hit a button it says so... etc..., is this possible?

Answer
Not as you are saying it would happen in Java, unless you are using windows API to receive any messages passed to your parent window.

You can althrough create a very basic event trap for keyboard and mouse by trapping form level events which would receive almost all the mouse and keyboard events triggering on any child controls.

Regards,
Riz
