Question
Hi,

I’m starting to learn VB.net and am trying to move items from listbox1 to listbox2 when you double click on the item in listbox1 but am having a problem.  I followed the help example but can’t get it to work.  Could you send me a working sample of how to copying selected items from listbox1 to listbox2and also then to remove the selected items from listbox2.   Thanks in advance

This is the code I’m using in my double click event:

To Add to listbox2
       ListBox1.Parent.lstSelected.AddItem(ListBox2.List(ListBox1.ListIndex))

To remove from listbox2

ListBox2.RemoveItem(ListBox2.ListIndex)

Answer
on the double click event of listbox1 type:

Listbox2.Items.Add(listbox1.selectedItem)

listbox1.selecteditem.remove/delete (I dont remember the exact comand right now) or an alternative way to remove is Listbox1.items.remove(listbox1.selecteditem)
